Walnut with floral inlay. Feeling pretty lucky that I get to work with this amazing walnut dropped off by a neighbor friend. The tree gew on Hogback Mountain in Montville, Maine. The "nature spirts" must be strong there because wood from that area seems special. The contrast between the dark and light seemed to call for a light floral inlay. I'm sure Mother Nature would agree.
