The cherry in this frrame is reversed bookmatched creating a unique, offset, balanced frame. I had walked by a yellow birch tree noticing a branch was hanging; snapped yet still attached. When I pulled it loose I noticed the spalting. The bandsaw provided floral petals which yielded enough for two "dahlias". Very tedious to set them into the cherry but time well spent.
